Yes, indeed, why bother?
There seem to be 4 main reasons to embark on a change process or life improvement project.

- to improve your inner state
- to improve your life conditions, which you hope will improve your inner state
- to improve your social status, which you hope will create better opportunities to improve your life conditions, which you hope will improve your inner state
- to improve your interpersonal, inter-individual relationships
Any idiosyncratic reason you may have will probably fall under one of these; if not, then congratulations, you have found a new dimension of human being.
You may, of course, be a well-rounded person living a well-balanced life, in which case I apologize for the interruption and wish you well in your good life.
